Comparison of types of transport vehicles for transfers in Cancun

When you think about traveling to Cancun, many times we require a transfer service both from the airport to the city or the hotel zone and to go visit a nearby town, tourist attraction or cenote to name a few places.

The options that we have to move in the destination of Cancun are varied from a taxi, a bus, a passenger van or renting a car.

When we travel with one to four people, it is advisable to request a taxi service with a compact car since the price will decrease due to the number of passengers. When the group goes from 5 to 9 people, it is advisable to travel in a van since it travels more Wider, safe and comfortable, having enough space to move and stretch your legs. Also, the price will be according to the number of passengers, having a greater discount for groups of more than 10 people. There are options such as a Mercedes Benz Splinter or a passenger bus. .

when we go on the road we see a large number of passenger transport going to the airport and since in the city of Cancun there is currently no passenger train the only option is to go by car since the heat and rain and weather conditions they make it extremely difficult to walk to the airport because of this we will have to opt for a passenger transfer service either by taxi or by van.

To reserve a taxi we have different options, we can ask people what our best option is depending on the number of passengers, as in everything it is always better to travel with more people so we will save on our transfer.

There are also options to travel privately in a taxi even in a luxurious way with a suburban for example and having all the comforts, only this service is high in cost.

From the airport there are multiple taxi agencies that provide service to both the city of Cancun and the hotel zone of Cancun or also to the city of Playa del Carmen and Tulum directly.

Throughout our experience we have made comparisons and we offer some ideas of safe taxis in the city of Cancun.
